Jinker asked him to pull the map. He was basing his design off of another map which had been developed by someone who hacked Obie for it.

Perhaps we could start compiling coordinates and plot a map of Obie. Anyone want to be a surveyor?

That's a real shame! He put so much work in it, and especially his geographical details, and the naming... Sometimes Jinker can be a real tyr...umm..god of course..

I've seen Jinker ask for several maps to be removed that were made by hacking the Oberin client. I don't think that he has ever asked that the map be removed for anyone's personal site, but only that no links to it be promoted on the Oberin website. I'm not sure in this case, but that's what I've seen in the past.

Jinker doesn't remove maps that aren't on the Oberin site, but he secretly hates us all for using them ;d

I have known him to encourage players to do cartography, and I would guess that he would not have an issue with a map made by exploring Oberin on foot. I don't think such a daunting task has been finished properly yet.

There would be risk involved, trying to get screenies of so many dangerous areas. I would like to see a CA Map.

Here's how exited I am about this. I reread the TOS and searched the forum. It is not expressly prohibited and the only place it says that it might be prohibited is in a comment by Davon.
